MHT-CET 2016 Eligibility Criteria

The applicant should have passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics scoring at least 50% aggregate marks in the PCM combination. There is 5% relaxation for Maharashtra backward classes. Candidates appearing for 10+2 examinations in 2016 can also apply.

MHT-CET 2016 Exam Syllabus

The MHT-CET usually consists of three question papers. Each paper is of 100 marks and is 1.5 hours long.

•  Paper I   :  Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)

•  Paper II   :  Biology (Botany & Zoology - 50 marks each)

•  Paper III: Mathematics (100 Marks)

ALL questions need to be answered. Answers are to be marked in an OMR sheet with a black ball point pen only. There is NO negative marking. Those applying for Health Science courses and B.VSc & AH should necessarily appear for Paper I & Paper II. For Engineering/Technology degree courses one should appear for Paper I and Paper III and for applying for a Pharmacy degree course one should appear for Paper I & Paper-II and/or Paper-III. The syllabus for the Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics papers for the MHT-CET will be the same as for the HSC Examination of HSC Boards of Maharashtra for that particular year.
